Collège des Frères – New Gate Makes a Remarkable Debut in Palestinian Culinary Competition

We are proud to announce that Collège des Frères – New Gate (Jerusalem) participated for the first time in the Inter-School Palestinian Culinary Arts Competition. Held at the Evangelical School in Ramallah, the event featured seven schools specializing in the hospitality and hotel management sector.

Our Team

The school was represented by three talented students:

  • Jana Shafe’

  • Jennifer Awad

  • Marwan Attooli

The team was guided by the expertise of our Hospitality Department Coordinator, Mr. Fadi Deeb, and Chef Peter Hermandes.

The Menu

Our students showcased their skills by preparing three traditional and sophisticated dishes:

  1. Jerusalemite Tomato Jam (Rabb al-Bandora)

  2. Rummanieh (Lentil and Eggplant with Pomegranate)

  3. The Main Course: Akkoub (Gundelia)

A Great Achievement

In an impressive debut performance, Collège des Frères secured Third Place! This achievement is a testament to our students' dedication, hard work, and the high standard of excellence they brought to representing our school.
