Grade 9 Students Explore the Wonders of the Respiratory System
In an atmosphere filled with excitement, curiosity, and scientific discovery, our Grade 9 students at Collège des Frères – Jerusalem participated in an interesting laboratory activity. They dissected a sheep's trachea and lungs to explore the different parts of the respiratory system, understand their functions, and learn how the lungs work during inhalation and exhalation.
This hands-on experience was more than just a science lesson. It gave students a valuable opportunity to connect classroom knowledge with practical learning while developing their observation, investigation, and scientific thinking skills.
Through this activity, our students discovered the amazing structure of the human body and gained a deeper appreciation of how carefully and wonderfully it is designed. The experience also encouraged their curiosity and inspired them to ask questions, explore, and learn more.
At Collège des Frères, we believe that real learning goes beyond textbooks. It comes to life through observation, practice, and discovery, when students become active explorers of knowledge rather than simply receiving information.
