Awarded the Chevalier de l’Ordre des Palmes académiques (Knight of the Order of Academic Palms).

Here is the translation of the Arabic text, suitable for posting on the Frères School in Jerusalem's website:

Congratulations to Our Esteemed Director, Brother Daoud Kassabri!

The family of the Frères School in Jerusalem, including teachers, administrators, and staff, extends its deepest congratulations and blessings to our esteemed director, Brother Daoud Kassabri, on being awarded the Chevalier de l’Ordre des Palmes académiques (Knight of the Order of Academic Palms).

This prestigious distinction was conferred upon you by Her Excellency the Minister of National Education of the French Republic, as conveyed by His Excellency the Consul General of France in Jerusalem.

In His Excellency the Consul's letter, it was stated that this honour "consecrates your commitment to promoting the teaching of the French language among young Palestinians," and that your work "fully contributes to reviving Franco-Palestinian cooperation in the field of Francophonie and transmitting it to the new generations." The letter also highlighted that the Frères School in Jerusalem "has become a landmark for many Palestinian families who wish for their children to learn the French language and discover the associated culture."

We, at the Frères School, see this recognition as the best expression of the true nature of your role and mission. We affirm that you are truly deserving of this honour, given the dedication we have known in you toward your work, your concern for the students, your sincere service to the French language, open humanistic culture, and the educational mission of the School in Jerusalem.

It is with immense pride that this high distinction comes amid our school's celebrations of the 150th Anniversary of the founding of the Frères School in Jerusalem. It thus consecrates a long journey of educational and humanitarian giving, during which our school has been and continues to be an integral part of the educational life in this city, aligned with the aspirations of Palestinian families for quality education for their children.

We pray that God blesses your efforts, grants you health and strength to continue this journey, and that the Frères School, under your leadership and with its teaching and administrative staff, remains a beacon of knowledge, values, openness, and dialogue.
