Olive Harvest Celebration

Students from grades one through four celebrated the olive harvest season in an atmosphere filled with joy and cooperation.

A number of students took part in picking olives at Our Lady of Sorrows Shelter – Ras al-Amoud, where they experienced teamwork and connected closely with our beautiful cultural heritage.

At school, the activities were both fun and meaningful, including:

The Art Station, where students expressed their love for the olive tree through creative and colorful artworks.

The Dabke Station, where they joyfully learned traditional Palestinian dance steps.

The Traditional Food Station, where the children prepared delicious thyme manakeesh with their little hands, big smiles, and the wonderful help of our amazing mothers.

It was a day rich with experiences and values — combining learning, fun, and love for the land.

Heartfelt thanks to all the mothers, teachers, and staff who contributed to the success of this wonderful event.

Wishing everyone a blessed olive harvest season!
