The Board of Trustees invited the administrative, educational, and teaching staff to a luncheon held in honor of the Lasallian teacher

On the occasion of the school’s 150th anniversary and in the presence of the Brothers of the Christian Schools (Frères), the Board of Trustees invited the administrative, educational, and teaching staff to a luncheon held in honor of the Lasallian teacher on this special occasion. The event was attended by Brother Habib Zraibi, Regional President of the Brothers in the Middle East; Brother Daoud Kassabry the school’s principal; Brother Albert Wezner; as well as a number of teachers and members of the administrative and educational staff.

In his opening remarks, Brother Daoud Kassabry expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Board of Trustees for their moral support and educational guidance to the school. He also thanked the Board’s president, Dr. Nakhleh Kamel Beidah, along with the attending members: Mr. Yousef Barakat, Director of the Notre Dame Center; Mr. Fares Amer, General Director of Clalit in East Jerusalem; Dr. Umayya Khammash from Medical Relief; Dr. Amina Badran, Dean of Bard College at Al-Quds University; and Mrs. Margo Younan.

In his speech, Dr. Nakhleh thanked the school and praised the pioneering role of its teachers. (Dr. Nakhleh’s speech is included in the attached photos.)

We also note that the Hospitality College, led by Mr. Fadi Deeb, the college coordinator, along with Mr. Peter Hermandes and the 12th-grade hospitality students, prepared the food that the teaching staff enjoyed for its distinguished flavor.
