A School trip took place on Thursday the 13th of November to the North of the Country

Sixth and seventh graders participated today in a series of activities focusing on developing essential aspects such as social intelligence, communication skills, concentration, and visual observation. The students enthusiastically engaged in various interactive segments designed to strengthen these skills in an enjoyable and dynamic way. Frères Secondary School, in cooperation with the Al-Ahliya Foundation and the French Cooperation, organized a special workshop on the art of chocolate-making, supervised by the Dolce Vita Foundation and Mr. Tamer Khoury. The workshop brought together a group of Jerusalem mothers and students from the Hospitality College, under the coordination of Mr. Fadi Deeb, Head of the Hospitality College. The Frères High School in Jerusalem – New Gate organized a full week of activities as part of Pink October for breast cancer awareness. The week-long pink campaign included several educational, recreational, and sports stations. The campaign targeted female students with awareness lectures delivered by Ms. Khawla Abu Ghazaleh from the Family Planning Center, with the participation of students from several schools: Frères School, Notre Dame de Belém, Terra Sancta, and Mar Mitr

Students from grades 3, 4, and 5 enjoyed an exciting trip to Kiftzuba Park, where they had a wonderful experience filled with games, laughter, and unforgettable memories. The students spent a fantastic time exploring different rides such as trampolines, swings, electric games, and the mini train. The trip was also a great opportunity to strengthen teamwork and friendship among the students while enjoying a day of happiness, excitement, and pure fun.

Our AP team proudly attended the AP Community Day organized by the College Board in Amman and Turkey, where many Advanced Placement (AP) schools from across the region came together to learn, share experiences, and grow as a community of educators. It was an enriching and productive experience — gaining valuable insights from College Board representatives and connecting with inspiring AP schools. The students hiked up the hill to enjoy the magnificent panoramic view of Jerusalem from all directions. They spent a wonderful time full of fun, friendship, and teamwork, with entertaining activities and group games that added joy and excitement to the day.

The first and second grade students took part in an enjoyable recreational trip to the Zoo in Malha. They toured different sections of the zoo, discovering various kinds of animals — both domestic and wild. The students listened with interest as they learned about the animals’ habitats and ways of life. It was a wonderful experience that combined learning and fun, and the students expressed their great joy throughout the trip, enjoying a day full of excitement and laughter.

On Wednesday, Frères School welcomed a delegation from the Sovereign Military Order of the Temple of Jerusalem – Autonomous Grand Priory of the United States of America, accompanied by Mr. Tony Khashram. A large group of students from Frères School took part in the main celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of Palestine at Deir Rafat Monastery, in a spiritual atmosphere filled with faith and hope. The Holy Mass was presided over by His Beatitude Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, along with numerous bishops, priests, and faithful.
